I want to welcome our new members who have joined while I was away as well as a big thank you to all of you who have contributed to make this group possible. A big thanks to for his blog contributions.

As summer has officially begun, it is understandable that people may not be as active and that's fine. This group is what you make of it, but on the same token, we don't want people dumping their entire galleries in the featured section.

Also, you will not be deleted from the group from inactivity. You get here when you can, we realize that many who are a part of this group are professionals, students, etc. who may not be able to get  on a web group on a regular basis due to more pressing commitments.  We do cherish all of our members and the relationships we build with each other. You don't need to explain or apologize for brief or inactivity, but you may share what's going on with your life if you wish.

Speaking of commitments, my absence was from moving and I recently enrolled back into college, and of course, heavy work commitments and I recently did a convention as well. More details will be posted to my DA blog later if you're curious.

Speaking of summer, would any of you be interested in our group doing a summer themed contest? It would be open to all members and to keep it fair, we'd have different categories (ie: inking, colors, pencils, writing) and also have both pro and aspiring levels. It's something to bounce around. Let me know what you guys think by replying to this blog by July 4th.
